Holdrege Public Schools is excited to announce the hiring of Lacie Wright as Holdrege Middle School Principal. She will also continue to handle her existing duties as District Curriculum Coordinator.

Lacie is a native of the Holdrege/Loomis area. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney for Education in 2008. She completed her Master’s Degree for Administration from Wayne State College in 2015.

Lacie started her career teaching at Bertrand, then taught in the Southern Valley and Wilcox school districts. The majority of her teaching career was spent at Southern Valley. She was welcomed to Holdrege in 2019 when she became the Reading Specialist and then moved into the District Curriculum Coordinator role in 2022. 

Lacie’s educational experiences make her an ideal choice as the next Middle School Principal. Lacie and her family reside in Holdrege and are active in the community.
